Welcome to the Sports Law Blog

Sports law is a fluid term used to describe many aspects of law and the laws application to the world of sports. In theory, the goal of this blog will be to touch on the more frequently merged subjects such as: labor law, contract law, anti-trust law, and agency law. We will discuss the intricacies of each, and how these very different sectors of law collide with professional and amateur sports in various capacities. We will take every day sports stories, and amplify the legal aspects of each and the effect they have on the athlete, the team, the league and the sport world as a whole.
